CONTINUOUS MICROFILTRATION FOR MEDIUM and LARGE PLANTS
Efficient and Compact Solution for Suspended Solids Removal and Water Reuse
TEKNODISK® is an advanced rotating disc microfiltration system designed to reduce the concentration of suspended solids in water and enable the reuse of filtered water for irrigation and industrial purposes.
How It Works
- Gravity-Based Filtration: Water passes through the filter discs, with solids retained on the filter cloths positioned on both sides of each disc.
- Backwashing System: A level sensor triggers disc rotation and backwashing when the cloths clog. The system uses filtered water for cleaning, eliminating the need for an external water source.
- Solid Removal: Retained solids are expelled via the central collection channel, ensuring continuous filtration even during washing cycles.
Key Features
- Compact Design: Combines a large filtering surface with minimal space requirements.
- Ease of Maintenance: Each disc is divided into eight independent sectors for quick access and replacement of filtering panels without emptying the tank.
- High Filtration Efficiency: Advanced cloth backwashing system with a tilting mechanism ensures continuous filtration.
- Anti-Clogging Technology: Equipped with a filter and quick-disassembly 1/4 turn nozzles, minimizing maintenance.
Customization and Durability
- Constructed in AISI 304L stainless steel, with AISI 316L available on request.
- Available with an integrated containment tank or a frame for installation in channels or concrete tanks.
- Filter cloths available in polyester or stainless steel, with filtration options ranging from 10 to 150 microns.

MAIN ADVANTAGES:
- Compact system, with or without integrated tank
- Tilting washing system and quick-release nozzles
- Top cover with sliding doors
- Plug&play design
The Teknodisk® filter cover features sliding doors that are designed for ease of access. These doors:
- Do not require removal during maintenance.
- Are simple to open, even by a single operator.
This user-friendly design ensures quick and efficient maintenance, reducing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.
The Teknodisk® cloth backwashing system, equipped with a tilting mechanism, ensures exceptional filtration efficiency. Key features include:
- Continuous Filtration: The system operates seamlessly, even during washing cycles.
- Optimized Performance: The advanced design maintains high filtration standards while minimizing downtime.
This innovative system enhances the reliability and performance of the Teknodisk® microfiltration system.
In the Teknodisk® microfiltration system, solid screenings are efficiently managed during the cleaning process. The pressure of the washing water causes the retained solids to drop into the central collecting duct, from where they are expelled by gravity.
This design ensures seamless operation and enhances the system’s overall filtration efficiency.
The Teknodisk® microfiltration system features disk filters designed for efficiency and ease of maintenance. Each disk is divided into eight independent sectors, allowing for:
- Quick and Easy Replacement: Filter plates can be replaced without significant downtime.
- Efficient Maintenance: Sectors can be accessed individually, streamlining the process and reducing operational disruptions.
This innovative design ensures that the Teknodisk® remains reliable and user-friendly, even during maintenance.
